Christmas Eve 20200🎄

Into the light.... I decided to take advantage  the sun slicing through the winter trees today, I stopped the lens down to attempt a sun star but it wasn’t to be. Hope all of you enjoyed your Xmas build up🎄

Another V walk tried out some unusual effects

Here we go again Indi is out of the doghouse and back to normal... We did our usual stroll and of course the V was with us, the weather was damp and some mist was hanging in the trees. The Fuji X100V has a few film effects which I really don’t use and just for fun tried some of them out on the walk. It shows images from miniature, high dynamic, multiple exposure (not sure where I would use this) and panoramic settings. Please leave a comment to discuss? Does any other X100 user take photos using these effects?

A little stroll with a disaster at the end and the dog is in the doghouse!

Read on about a nice muddy stroll with a footwear disaster  Out we went on our daily walk me Indi and the V I took some different location photos at the end of a particularly muddy wet section I thought “my left heel feels wet” and there it was a sole detached from the mud boots - not a great combination  Indi was in the doghouse as we unpacked shopping we left a bag with Xmas garnish of stuffing and pigs in blankets in the large shed I own - trouble was I left her in there too! Subsequently within three minutes one tray of raw food was devoured by my dear Indi! So she will be sleeping in the shed tonight  Also yesterday portraits of my crazy but lovely post lady Wendy dressed as Santa’s helper!

Rain greeted us on getting up

Nothing like a bit of rain! We ventured out in the rain and Indi seems off colour today, a bit slow and reluctant really - so sad to see a busy active dog succumb to old age. The first photograph shows the rain from inside and we waited until it had eased off and out we went, at the end I included shots of the refuse collection here as they do a great job and get little thanks. Hope you enjoy the photos and as they say “please comment and like”

Lovely blue sky

Fuji X100V captures the blue and red... At least the sun came out today, I made the most of the V’s dynamic range and Velvia colour science profile. The camera allows for some stunning photography and it’s a joy to use, I am thinking of purchasing a DJI Osmo pocket video camera. Then turn parts of this blog into a vlog of my walk and tips and tricks of the camera etc Keep dropping by Mark

Today’s photos a tad damp underfoot

As with most of my blogs these days it’s a wet one! The first shot shows that. Very wet but as usual  I took images of the scenes I saw around me and some close up details
