Fuji X100V Daily
So I decided to build a blog about daily photos with my beautiful Fuji X100V
I have been a Fuji X photographer for over 10 years and especially the X100.
The fixed lens really helps with creativity
The top light really helped with the shadows
I have found walking out and about with my camera a mindful experience, it helps you balance with nature and slow down in this difficult world.
The leaves above seem to show sadness at the change of the seasons resting peacefully on a fallen tree
Exposure wise for those that are photographers 1/30 sec shutter speed f 3.6 ISO 500, it’s easy to handhold the X100V for a shot like this. I suppose some would ask why not use a phone for these shots?
I understand this but being a photographer you need to use a camera!
True!
ReplyDeleteThanks Alex it’s a photographer thing to always use a camera!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more! I find something oddly 'wrong' about using my phone for photos...
ReplyDeleteYep it's strange even though the Pixel 4A is very good I just enjoyed using a camera much more.
DeleteThanks for the reply
Nice pics, Alex. Looking to buy a Fuji X100V, Sony RX1 or Ricoh GR. Do you think the Fuji is better than Sony? Not that familiar with Fuji.
ReplyDeleteHi I have owned the RXR1 ii and although the photos were fabulous the menu system and weak battery were it's downfall.
ReplyDeleteThe Ricoh GRiii is a great fixed lens camera very pocket friendly and superb sharp quality images.
The X100V beats the Sony full frame in some cases and the jpegs on X100V are insanely good - better than the Sony and the Ricoh
ISo performance is a close run thing between the Sony and the Fuji I have shot the Sony at 25600 ISo and it was very clean
Hopefully this helps!
PS this blog is mine and not Alex’s !
