So it’s the end of the month just another walk

Some different scenes on today’s journey  We got out just before the deluge of heavy rain, the first photo was Indi waiting with he favourite rope ball toy. She adores to carry something probably makes her think she has a job! The second picture shows how useful the flip out screen is for a very low down shot, I created the image with the muted colours in mind. The Fuji cameras are almost legendary in their colour science, they follow on from some of the beautiful films I used in the early 1980’s , Astia and Velvia along with the beautiful Acros Black & White. The last photo of Indi was taken indoors and used the Acros film simulation, it was taken at ISO 640 at 1/60 second exposure F2.5 (in photography speak) it renders a smooth rendition tonality of the full blacks and whites. I love this setting! Hope you enjoy the photos please follow and comment for daily updates!

Later walk as the weather was very wet!

So a later walk today but someone was still keen..... We did our constitutional stroll today and as the title said a little later than usual. The woodlands are a riot of colour but the trees are losing their leaves very quickly now as the year moves almost into November. I have stuck to my usual pattern of the the colour of leaves, with a gritty black and white landscape to show the threatening sky.

Today’s lovely Autumn walk

More work with the V today and a lovely shot of Indi the GSD.... Today’s walk took in the Buckinghamshire leafy countryside once more with my trusty companion Indi, we saw many varied views and of course the V came to record it all.

Not such a nice day weather wise as yesterday

So great it’s raining although the photos don’t show that it is! So here we are again another photo walk on another day, this time soft October rain was falling and on our shortened walk I still used the X100V as it’s weather sealed and it was on my shoulder. Previous X100 versions would have had to be underneath my coat or not taken! So only a few photos today but still autumn creeps upon us and the leaves are changing faster in response. I actually enjoy this time of year, it gives me sense of placement about the year and where it is heading. I know some people struggle as the nights close in - I find the change a positive one really as time in nature shows its time for this year's flowers and leaves are going dormant.

A beautiful sunny autumn day

At last a bit of sunshine...... So today was another Indi walk (of course!) and the V came along so we did some more images below

Special visit from the cows!

More today with some special visitors..... We woke up this morning and looked outside to see some cows wandering down the street! So of course I had to take a photo and the V was grabbed and more history was made as below, they seemed very content eating the grass outside. No harm came to them they were quickly herded into a neighbours field and then the farmer came to get them. They enjoyed the adventure I think! Then Indi and I went on our walk and on the way I captured more lovely photos with the V around the beautiful place we live in in leafy Buckinghamshire, I love Autumn as the season progresses nature deposits the leaves in varied and unusual locations  Then when I got back from my walk my next door neighbour asked if I could do some portraits of her little girl - so again the V shone at the task and this was one of my favourite ones. Also an interesting shot was some leaves fallen onto an evergreen tree so it showed the autumn feature against the evergreen foliage also a shot

An autumn walk .....

A windy autumn walk with the v So today like any other is the morning exercise routine with Indi and my V, it was a little overcast so no major vistas could be taken as you will see in the photo below of my favourite tree. I always pop the X100V over my shoulder as I walk and the key to grabbing any shot is often stop - listen - then look down or up too. It’s as always nice just doing this to feel part of nature and listen to all the sounds, today above a Red Kite sat calling whilst perched in a tree. Obviously this is the drawback of a fixed lens camera. No photo! So look at the images I captured and enjoy the beauty and sometimes different viewpoints.

More X100V today.....

More X100V today.... So out on another walk today with the camera and my trusty companion Indi my GSD  We did a major circuit of Naphill where we live and again the X100V and Fuji’s wonderful film simulations So mainly the “velvia” simulation was used to bring out all the vibrancy that Autumn can offer, often people discuss Raw v JPEG and Fuji produces some of the best out of camera Jpegs I have ever seen.
